Ten Things	The theme of our first major series of the year is "Ten things you need to know before you die"
Easter Events	Our programme of Easter Services as part of Birchwood Evangelical Church and photos from our early morning Easter Son Rise service.
Make a Cake	A special service on 6th April 2008 using the analogy of making a cake that challenged each of us to consider the ingredient that we bring to the life of our Church.
Rhema	We were delighted to welcome back the Rhema Theatre Company for their new production "Home", a play based on the Exodus. An epic journey from slavery . . . to promise

Duggie Dug Dug	The Children's worship leader and entertainer Duggie Dug Dug came to Birchwood on Saturday 6th September. He hosted a very successful workshop in the afternoon followed by a children's concert in the evening.
Sign Language Services	Beginning in September 2008, we are introducing sign language to selected services in the mornings at Birchwood Community High School.
Visit of Mati Gali, YWAM, Recife	Mati Gali, head of YWAM in the Brazilian city of Recife, is visiting Birchwood on 18th-19th October. We support the work Matt and Karina Archer at Open House, working with YWAM to rescue street children in Recife. We are collecting stationery, medical supplies and shorts/t-shirts for Mati to take back with him. If you would like to donate anything, please bring your donations by 11th October. >>> More details.
New Venue for our Morning Services	From 23rd November, our morning services, Birchwood Community Church, are moving to Spencer House, the building opposite Birchwood Station.
